GDS NGP Summit to see prominent executives from the pharmaceutical industry
The Barton Creek Resort and Spa, Austin, Texas, is all set to welcome C-level executives from the Pharmaceutical sector at GDS International's tenth Next Generation Pharmaceuticals summit, from 23rd to 25th of July 2012.
Like all GDS International summits, most well-respected people from the sector will congregate to meet, network, and assess the rapidly evolving pharmaceutical industry in a vibrant, closed door environment, and cover core industrial topics, including: personalized medicine, key collaborations and strategic M&A activity within the sector, translational medicine, next generation imaging technologies, biomarker discovery and development, R&D and clinical trial partnership models, drug safety and pharmacovigilance, companion diagnostics and innovative information technology solutions, to name but a few.
Included within this year's delegation are Paul Chew, Chief Medical Officer of Sanaofi Aventis; Scott Treiber, VP Global Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs at Hospira; Rajesh Chopra, VP, Translational & Early Drug Development at Celgene; and Nestor Molfinio, VP, Clinical Development at Medlumme.
During the summit, delegates can look forward to a series of interactive workshops and moderated, peer-led panel discussions, and have the opportunity to meet with business analysts and solution providers to determine strategies and solutions for the year ahead.
Please find what Peter Nathan, Director of Global Business Development, New England Biolabs has to say about the last year's summit, which provided him true innovation and value for money: "NGP offers enormous value and a real opportunity to network with a range of companies that perhaps you might not otherwise meet. The synergy we achieved with the companies in attendance was truly beneficial."
This year again, key decision-makers of the sector can utilize the platform to liaise and collaborate with their peers, discuss organisational strategies for the future and establish meaningful working relationships with a dynamic selection of delegates, vendors and sponsors.
The theme of collaboration has always been the key element of the NGP Summit, and in today's uncertain economic climate, this theme has never been more relevant and essential in pushing the industry forward.
